SUMMARY - This position is for Laboratory Information Systems specialist. Under the direction of the Laboratory Director, and in the absence of the Supervisor, ensures the smooth and efficient functioning of the clinical laboratory.
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent
At least four years of experience under a qualified Laboratory Director
Ability to organize and coordinate diverse activities
Demonstrated leadership ability
Familiarity with state and federal regulations where applicable
CT MEDTECH or equivalent within 9 months of hire
Cerner PathNet experience preferred
