Responsibilities

About this opporunity:

  • Provides the professional care necessary to achieve the goals of the Cardiac Fitness center program; the achievement and maintenance of optimal physical and psychological functions in patients with post acute coronary heart disease.

  • Serves as a role model of cardiac fitness by integrating the role components of clinician, teacher and consultant.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Exercise Physiologist, must have a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology and training in cardiopulmonary from an accredited University.

  • One year's internship or work experience in cardiac rehabilitation preferred.

  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from American Heart.

  • Proficient in basic arrhythmia recognition. Completed a basic arrhythmia course.

  • Must have knowledge and experience of the following: Cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.

  • Pathophysiology of coronary artery disease.

  • Patient education methods

Pay Range

$29.03 - $48.77/hour
