Responsibilities
Job Summary
In keeping with the Dignity Health mission and standards the Physician Assistant (PA) reports to the Director of Perioperative Services.
During the assisting phase and until conclusion of the operative procedure the PA performs duties under the direction of the surgeon.
The Responsibilities include assessment planning intervention evaluation and standards of Physician Assistants practice and optimal outcomes.
Directly partners with surgeon intraoperatively and assists with patient positioning.
Will function as a liaison between physicians nursing staff and allied healthcare professionals.
Needs to recognize that they have an affirmative duty and responsibility for reporting perceived misconduct including actual or potential violation of laws regulations policies procedures or this organizations standards/code of conduct.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Two (2) years intraoperative experience in assisting the surgeon in the OR.
Preferred: Two (2) years intraoperative experience in assisting the surgeon in robotic surgery.
Must have graduated from a program of instruction for Physician Assistants recognized and approved by the California Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants//Master’s Degree

Pay Range
$62.24 - $90.24 /hour
