Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. Responsibilities

SUMMARY - DHMG is seeking an Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Nurse Practitioner to join us at Phoenix St. Joseph’s Hospital and the DHMG Orthopedic clinic in Phoenix, Arizona. The position, which includes employment through DHMG, will assist the attending surgeons in orthopedics to deliver quality patient care services at SJHMC, a not-for-profit hospital and state designated Level 1 Adult Trauma Center.

Join our Orthopedic Trauma Practice with multiple fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeons and a robust team of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

Responsibilities:

• Assist attending surgeons in the operating room.

• Inpatient care / rounding on patients

• Outpatient post-op clinical coverage

• Participate in orthopedic trauma call; First-Call shifts 4-5 shifts per month.

• Prior orthopedic experience desirable

• 1+ year experience as surgical 1st assist preferred but open to new graduates

This position is primarily a Monday-Friday inpatient and clinical position with rotating night, weekend and holiday call/OR coverage.

Qualifications

MINIMUM

Master's Degreee in nursing. Graduate of accredited program for nurse practitioners.

Three years clinical experience in healthcare.

AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State

Registered in AZ as nurse practitioner. Hold and maintain national certification in NP area, under AZ regulations

American Heart Association BCLS

Pay Range

$54.12 - $78.47/hour
