JOIN US NOW as we are seeking a PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN (PCT) to be part of our dynamic patient care team. Passionate about the health and well-being of our critically ill patients, assists patients with activities of daily living and provides direct patient care under supervision of Nurse, obtains and records patient vital signs, monitors and records daily intake and output, obtains specimens, including non-invasive body fluids and blood specimens and performs EKGs and blood glucose monitoring. This position also monitors and performs actions to decrease patient length of stay including but not limited to: performing timely designated discharge duties, and communicating discharge information to appropriate staff, assist Physician/Nurse with diagnostic tests, clinical procedures, and other tasks as requested, communicates patient needs and observed/reported changes in patient condition to supervising Nurse or Physician and assists nursing in the retrieval and delivering of medications per the unit standard.
AZ State CNA License
C.N.A. course completion and current registration/license
Basic computer skills
Six (6) months CNA acute care experience and the completion of a Patient Care Technician program preferred.
