Provides comprehensive assessments of acute care patients, develops and/or recommends a plan of care, renders treatment when needed and offers educational support to patients with all types of wounds, skin issues, fistulas and ostomies. Works as part of a multidisciplinary team. Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, patient protocols and quality improvement activities. Provides staff support and education in current evidence-based practice and in formulary selection and utilization.
Located in Phoenix, AZ, this position is critical to the success of St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.
AZ RN license or license from compact state with multi-state privileges.
BCLS certification for healthcare providers.
Minimum of two (2) years acute care background
Wound Certification from nationally recognized organization (CWOCN, CWCN, CCWS)
