Responsibilities

Minimum:

  • Joining a group of 4 providers (1 Neurosurgeon), DO, PA and an NP

  • Spine and Cranial Neurosurgery

  • 200-300 cases annually possible based on surgeons expertise and assessment.

  • 7-10 patients per day when in clinic

  • Average surgery days range from 2-3 days per week and 2 days in clinic.

  • Anterior cervical discectomy, epilepsy neurosurgery, Chiara decompression, craniotomy, lumbar puncture and laminectomy.

  • Shared monthly and provides consultation to hospital staff.

  • Perform surgeries, meet w/patients to interpret MRIs, CTs and PET scans to assess the patient and decide on a surgical plan. Work on research and clinical trials. Provide consultations.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Completion of a residency and a fellowship in Neurosurgery, in ACGME approved programs

  • Current BC/BE

  • Valid state medical license as MD or DO

  • Valid DEA certificate

  • New grad or experienced

Pay Range

$305.36 - $536.82 /hour
