Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Provides tactical leadership in order to maximize the effectiveness of all service delivery systems and financial performance, engages staff and cultivates a clinic culture that prioritizes humankindness and patient-centric care.

Coordinates the day-to-day operational aspects of the multiple clinics.

Works closely with staff and providers in each unit to ensure that all fiduciary and clinic goals are met.

Participates in work groups, teams, task forces and committees to support ongoing improvement in clinic operations.

Provides value-added and productive input and expertise to drive continual improvement, support standardization and streamlining and to resolve ongoing patient care issues.

Supports the established processes and systems to enhance customer service by providing coaching to staff and ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff, providers and visitors, and operates clinic in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements impacting areas of responsibilities.

Assists in determining the workload priorities to enable timely completion of tasks while monitoring work performance and supporting with training and coaching as necessary.

Assists in managing the revenue cycle and supports the management of supply costs, tracks inventory usage, using purchasing information management systems, including maintaining staffing levels that adhere to labor standards and effectively controlling staff premium pay.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in related field.

  • Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience.

  • Hight School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Working knowledge of community clinic/health center operations.

  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions; maintain attention and concentration for necessary periods; synthesize, coordinate, and analyze data, perform simple and repetitive tasks; maintain a work pace appropriate to given work load; perform complex and varied tasks

  • Ability to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions; get along with co-workers and peers; understand the meaning of words and how to use them appropriately and effectively

  • Ability to understand and remember detailed instructions

  • Ability to make independent decisions or exercise judgment based on appropriate information

  • Ability to accept and carry out responsibility for direction, control and planning.
