Responsibilities

About This Position

Position provides routine daily services to maintain Biomedical equipment at a functional and operational level.

Under the over all direction and supervision of the Plant Operations Manager is responsible for installation inspections calibration repair safety testing and preventive maintenance of diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment. Conduct scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance and safety inspections.

Qualifications

  • Four years experience in the repair and maintenance of biomedical instrumentation.

  • Ability to work in technically and mentally demanding situation.

  • High degree of concentration is required for detailed work.

  • Must have the ability to work well with others.

  • Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.

  • Possess decision-making skills.

  • Ability to follow through with appropriate actions as situation warrants.

  • Able to work well with other departments in a friendly and effective manner.

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

Pay Range

$39.07 - $49.10 /hour
