Clinical Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the accurate identification preparation and distribution of drugs the monitoring of patient drug therapies and the provision of pharmaceutical care to patients served. Pharmacists supervise and direct ancillary personnel (technicians interns) working in their immediate area. In the absence of a pharmacy supervisor a pharmacist may be required to assume essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Knowledge of unit dose systems IV admixture chemotherapy clinical pharmacology pharmacokinetics and drug use evaluation is required.

Education:

  • Graduate of a School of Pharmacy with Pharm.D.

Licensure/ Certifications:

  • Current CA Registered Pharmacist License

  • BLS certification required

Preferred Experience:

  • Board certification in ED or experience in as a ED Pharmacist is preferred.

  • Previous hospital and clinical pharmacy experience is preferred.

  • Completion of an ASHP residency is preferred.

  • ACLS card is recommended.

  • Bi-lingual is preferred.

Pay Range

$59.53 - $86.32 /hour
